Join Us In Making A Difference This Holiday Season
PMG Mechanical is partnering up with Renewal Food Bank for our first-ever “Stuff A Furnace” food drive! As a locally owned company, we look for ways to give back to our community year around. This year, we’re seeking to support the local Bellevue community by collecting food donations to help local King County residents in need. Let’s fill the “furnace” with donations and make a positive impact on the lives of our neighbors this holiday season.
How Can You Donate?
Donating is easy! There are two simple ways you can participate in the drive:
Option 1: Hand Off To Your Tech!
During your next service appointment, give your technician(s) any canned goods or other nonperishable food items you’d like to donate. They’ll add it to our growing “Stuff a Furnace” collect for the Renewal Food Bank. If you donate 5 items, we’ll say thank you to you by giving you $50 off your service!
Option 2: Donate Via Amazon!
Renewal Food Bank has a wonderful Amazon Wishlist that let’s you donate to them directly!
Why This Matters
Renewal Food Bank saw an increase for their services surge over 60% since 2022 every year. They serve over 470 families per week. Not only are they helping families get basic necessities every week, they are helping reduce food waste from our local grocery stores and retailers. They pickup food from local grocery stores weekly, to help save over 350,000 pounds of wasted food going to the landfill through their food rescue program. We’re happy to offer continual support to this organization in their critical efforts to nourish our neighbors and work to fight the root causes of hunger
Stuff a Furnace FAQ
Any shelf stable food items such as canned goods, rice, and pasta.
Yes! If you have cleaning items or unopened personal hygiene products such as toothpaste, toilet paper, disinfectant wipes. Please note these products must be in their original packaging and unopened for us to accept these items.
No worries! We’re accepting donations thru December 15th! We love local- as a small, family-owned home services company here in the heart of Bellevue, we look to support a local non-profit group all year long! If you’re not able to donate, keep an eye out for our other charity events.
Nope! We appreciate any and all support we gain for our “Stuff a Furnace” Food Drive! If you’d like to donate, give us a call and we can coordinate a drop off time for you!
